SmartSegment ESG™
for Suppliers 

This project explores how artificial intelligence can support suppliers in understanding their sustainability profile and taking action toward ESG adoption, directly while navigating a public tender platform. Developed as part of my Master’s applied research in IT Engineering, SmartSegment ESG™ uses clustering algorithms and association rule mining to analyze supplier behavior and identify key engagement patterns. The simulated experience allows suppliers to see how peers with similar profiles are progressing in sustainable procurement and to receive personalized recommendations and resources based on their characteristics. Embedded seamlessly within the RFP environment, this tool empowers suppliers to stand out, build credibility, and align with sustainability goals independently, without requiring direct intervention from buyers.
